How long have you been in business?
Imaginality Designs emerged in late 2009 as an evolution from the almost 30 year old Imaginality.
What is your primary product or service?
Designing better, more effective visual branding experiences that express a sense of 'place.' That includes aspects such as logo design, sign design and bringing together the disciplines of graphic and environmental design. All elements work together; brand, landscape, lighting, architecture and interior designÉ creating an overall sense of visual appeal.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been an artist, graphic designer and marketing person ever since i can remember. I began my professional career in advertising and design in 1976 - shortly out of high school. Working for an advertising agency for 4 years in all aspects of media; print and broadcast I was able to have a first hand influenece with clients and creative which was a good foundation for launching my own business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Creativity and design thinking. We are unusual in the sense that we get to understand more about what clients' needs are as well as their appeal and their market. We consider 'user experience' and have manufacturing capabilities and are continually exploreing new technologies and keeping up on world design trends to bring fresh perspectives to our work for clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Golden Valley and intend to keep our business small.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks, cash and credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We have clients across the U.S. and even abroad. However our focus is within the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Myrna Orensten is the owner. Our team of 6 works closely together to manage various aspects of the business.
What are your hours of operation?
8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday. Communication often happens around the clock.
