How long have you been in business?
We have been a community-based public health service provider since 1960.
What is your primary product or service?
Our breadth of services promote, protect and improve the health of our community. They include Women, Infants and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program, immunizations, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Medical Reserve Corp (MRC), family resource referrals, child development assistance, safety assessments and referrals for seniors, and community-wide health promotion.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our health services are provided to keep everyone in our community well rather than to treat people who are ill.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Most clinic services are provided at the Public Health Center located at 1900 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431. Some other services are located in the community. Public Health Nurses make home visits to assist families.

What type of payments do you accept?
Clinic fees are based on income and family size. Some services are offered without charge and are supported by state and federal grants. Some health services are covered by private health insurance or Medicaid.
