Family owned and operated since 1972.
What is your primary product or service?
Telephone answering, appointment setting and order taking services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My name is Michelle and I am the General Manager/COO here at South Suburban Answering Service. I have grown up with this company my whole life. My grandmother Shirley started the answering service in 1972. My mother, Joan, bought the company in 2000 and I work for her as the COO.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are family owned and a small company so we are able to provide personalized service. When you or your customers call, you may have the owner answer the phone. We value and appreciate our customers and want to give the best service possible! We also do appointment setting and order taking. Not many answering services have that service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and we don't plan on moving. We have been in the same building that we are in since 1983.

We are located off of 35W & 98th Street in Bloomington, MN. We are in the Dupont Center Office Center along with MN Eye Consultants
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks & credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We service the entire U.S.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Joan is the Owner/President of the company and Michelle(Joan's daughter) runs daily operations and is the General Manager/COO.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday-Friday 7am-7pm and Saturday's 8am-1pm. We also offer 24 hour answering.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The excellent job we do and the excellent customer service we give.
