As your advocate, confidant and friend, our Move Managers cater to your unique situation and tailor our services to meet your individual needs and concerns. Imagine coming into your new residence on moving day with your furniture in place, clothes hung in the closets, computer, phone, television and lamps connected and pictures hung. Our movers will make your new home look like a model apartment at the end of the move for you to be ready to start your new life.

What is your primary product or service?
Senior move management-we sort, get rid of unwanted possessions, pack, arrange the movers, unpack and totally resettle.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Bill�s business operations expertise and financial acumen comes from his 10 years experience in the insurance industry and 20 years in the financial industry as an options and commodity trader. He received his degree in BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. After a hearing disability forced him to �retire�, Bill and his wife Diane purchased Gentle Transitions from the original founders of the company. Gentle Transitions continues to be recognized as one of the leaders in the senior move management industry. Their own experience moving homes and their experience with Gentle Transitions coupled with numerous requests from non-seniors for a similar service propelled the launch of GT Move Concierge. The success of their companies, according to Bill Lehman, is a result of dedicated employees and a commitment to superior customer service. For the past 28 years, Diane has been involved in innovative business ventures serving individuals and families. In the early 1980�s, Diane developed and operated Illinois� first sheltered care home for individuals with memory loss, a model that others in the industry soon followed. As owner of Gentle Transitions, the premier senior move management company, she has been featured in numerous local and national publications and is recognized nationally in the industry. She and her husband Bill�s experience with Gentle Transitions confirmed the benefits of assistance through the move process for people of all ages and was pivotal in launching the entrepreneurial endeavor of GT Move Concierge. Diane�s education includes St. Olaf College and the University of MN, where she holds a bachelors and Masters Degree. Her passion and energy to serve people in a variety of ways is never ending and contagious.
