How long have you been in business?
We have been in the in-home care business since 2005.
What is your primary product or service?
Child and baby care.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Since 2005, Carey Lindeman has been the heart behind Promise Care™, a pioneering home healthcare service with a focus on personal relationships and a vision of wellness that goes beyond the physical. Inspired by her experience in lay ministry to the elderly, she founded a company that preserves the dignity of a population often brushed aside.
But in 2006, a new baby brought new perspective. Carey became a grandmother. And she realized that home health care and educated support was urgently needed by an entirely different group—new families. Her desire to serve grew to encompass the opposite end of the life spectrum.
“New families today face challenges unknown 20 years ago,” reflects Carey. “Moms are home from the hospital fast – without the kind of family and community support parents used to count on. A time that should be naturally delightful loses its luster when mixed with uncertainty and exhaustion.
