WarPaint International has been in business since 2010, formally incorporated in 2013 and formally listed as a corporate partnership in 2016.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a beauty agency that delivers onsite makeup artistry and hairstyling.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
WPI is female-founded and operated by makeup artist, Jessica Mae. Jessica is an Innovation in Retail award winner from the national association of women business owners and a 40 under 40 award winner with the Twin Cities Business Journal. How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are an all-encompassing beauty agency. Most of our competitors are either freelance Artists that do one-off jobs for anyone or other agencies or groups that focus on bridal. Though we are a leader in the bridal industry, we also offer a unique blend of beauty based services including monthly beauty membership levels, onsite hair & makeup for life's events, touch-up bars and beauty bars at events, celebrity and commercial applications, corporate packages and more. We are primarily a digital marketing agency that brokers beauty services, with talent and employee standards ahead of the curve in the beauty service industry, including digital bridal contracts, criminal employee background checks, and digital sales lead funnels. We are launching an iOs and Android app in the coming weeks for booking beauty on demand.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are based in Minneapolis. We have teams in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Diego. We currently are registered to franchise in Minnesota, California and New York.
