ACR Homes is a provider of residential services to people with physical and/or developmental disabilities. In 58 homes throughout the metro area we serve people who need assistance with activities of daily living. We specialize in people with high medical and physical needs, but also support people with autism and behavioral concerns. We also care for people with Traumatic Brain Injuries, MS, MD, Lou Gehrig's, Huntingtons, and Parkinsons. Most of our homes are 4 bedroom, wheelchair accessible ramblers in the 5 county, suburban Metro area. Each of our clients has his/her own bedroom, and the rest of the house is shared. Most of our homes have a 2:4 staffing ratio, awake-night staff, and a live-in supervisor. We pride ourselves on staff selection, thorough training, and adherence to high standards. We take the CADI, CAC, DD, and BI waivers, as well as private pay.
Our sister company, Arthur's Residential Care, has two homes for seniors with dementia and Alzheimers or a high level of physical/medical need. Arthur's has a Comprehensive License at each of our two homes, one in Roseville and one in Shoreview. Both homes have the same high caliber staffing you've come to expect at ACR Homes. Arthur's can also manage clients with challenging behaviors, many of whom are asked to leave larger assisted living facilities. Our high staffing ratio, 1:3, helps to address our clients concerns quickly before the issue escalates, and works very well at reducing challenging behaviors. Our homes are fully wheelchair accessible, we can do lifts and transfers, manage all medications, sliding scale insulin, and many medical needs. Our costs are at a flat rate, never increasing even if the care needs increase. Services at Arthur's may be paid for privately or with Long Term Care Insurance. We can care for clients through end-of-life, and are happy to add hospice providers to the services we offer. We serve clients with Alzheimeimer's, other forms of dementia, PSP, Parkinson's, MSA, MS, MD, ALS, Huntingtons, etc.
